Yesterday began with some breakfast and then we headed downtown to listen to a lecture given by CBRE, which is a real estate and investment firm for LEED-certified buildings. Their properties are typically high-rise office buildings and apartments, and they are a multi-national company. They work with general contractors in the construction phase as consultants to obtain LEED points. I got the chance to ask a few questions 1 on 1 with Fernanda, who was one of the senior project managers. I had some questions about LEED tracking, which is one of the main things I did on my Co-Op with a general contracting firm.
After that, we hit the food trucks nearby for lunch. I got some shawarma that was banging. After lunch, we hopped on the bus and headed to the coworking spot to make some more progress on our project. We worked until 5, got some ice cream, and headed back to get cleaned up before dinner. Before dinner, we had some time to kill, so I went to a streetwear store with some friends for a while. We didn’t get anything and went back to the ramen spot for dinner. I got my favorite cocktail again. After that, we headed back to ours, had some beers, and then went out to a corner bar with the other dialogue. It was a cool vibe and was lowkey. From there, we went to the bougee McDonald’s, walked the other dialogue home (which was near the McDonald’s), and then came back to ours.
