Hello and welcome back to the Brent Bible. I sincerely apologize to you guys that this blog was not posted yesterday. We got back to the hostel later than expected and it was a tight turnaround from Capoeira to Boomski.
Our day started off with class,
where we learned the ins and outs of electricity and single-unit mass balances
with multiple reactions. Interesting stuff. After class, we went back, had some
lunch, and headed to the Afro-Brazilian Museum. It is located in a park in Sao
Paolo and has an art exhibit and a history exhibit. Both were very cool and
interesting.

After that, we waited a while for
the Capoeira instructors to show up. We played taps with coconuts. When they
came, they taught us some basic moves, about the culture behind it, and the
instruments/rituals. For those who don’t know, Capoeira is a mix between
martial arts and dancing, and was originally created by slaves in Brazil to
disguise their practice of martial arts. It was a lot of fun and I think it
will definitely help me fend off thieves.
After that, we went to dinner and then to the bar. It was an open bar for a great price. 30 USD for a massive burrito, a frozen Marg, and 6 Moscow mules. Was definitely in the flow state.

Something to smile about |
After dinner, we went to Alto, a nearby bar, had some drinks, and then went to Meow, which is a nearby club. We met up with the other dialogue there. After that, a few of us got some food at a food truck. The burger slapped. After that, we headed home and went to bed. I will post again tonight before we go out. We are celebrating Morgan and Marco’s birthdays at a karaoke bar. I hope everyone likes Bruno Mars
I hope we see video from the karaoke bar!
