Welcome back everyone! Yesterday was another busy day without anything monumental happening, which began with an early morning. At 7 AM, we embarked on our visit to CTR Lara, which is a landfill and biogas collection facility. It was really cool to visit and learn about how biogas is processed. I can now say that I have been to two landfills in my lifetime.

After our visit, we got back on our bus to head to the hostel. From there, we cooked up some lunch and headed to the coworking spot to get into our projects with the Brazilian students. We made some good progress organizationally, and we are going to iron some things out tonight (7/18) and tomorrow afternoon ahead of our intermediate presentation to ComBio.

After our time at the coworking spot, we came home and went to play some soccer. We went to the same spot as last time and lined up against the Brazilian youth. They were very good for their ages, as all of them were pretty young. They also all took it very seriously. We had a good time!

From there, I came back and cheffed up some pasta with meat sauce. It was pretty bangin. Most of the others went out to eat, but I needed to cook some of the food I got earlier this week. I met up with the rest of them after dinner for some drinks and a good time at the nearby club. We did not go crazy and still had a good time.
