Hello again everyone, welcome back to another blog! Today was our last full day in Rio, and it started with some breakfast before an all-day tour of the city. Our first stop was an old palace and garden that was beautiful. We saw a bunch of green, a small aquarium of fish native to Brazil, some caves, and a tower that had some cool echo effects.

From there, we drove to Sugarloaf Mountain, which was surreal. We took cable cars up to the first mountain, and then up to Sugarloaf. We learned a ton about the history of Rio and the mountains, and the views were amazing.

After that, we went to a buffet for lunch. This was the nicest buffet by far, and the food was unreal. I had so much. Like two full plates. Enough food to feed a village.

After lunch, we went to the Future Museum of Brazil, which was a spot to educate its visitors about Earth’s history as a whole, and how our current habits are affecting the planet. It was pretty cool, and there was a room that everything was orange in. Like Wizard of Oz except orange, and the outside was colors. It was called a monochromatic room.

After that, we came back to the hostel, and some others and I grabbed dinner at a burger joint nearby before getting a Brazilian McFlurry at McDonalds which was good. It was a type only found in Brazil and it was very good. After that, I came home, got cleaned up, and now am getting ready for bed.
