Hello everyone! I am so sorry for the delay in uploading these blogs. We have had a busy few days in Foz de Iguacu, and I am just now finding some time at the airport awaiting out departure to Rio.
On this day, I did the Instagram takeover,
which was a ton of fun and something I really enjoyed! We woke up, got some breakfast,
and visited the Itaipu Dam, which is one of the largest in the world! It was incredible
touring the dam and learning how electricity is produced there. It was a
massive concrete structure, and something that I was in awe of from a construction
standpoint. It took 17 year to complete, which is nuts. Something huge that I
hope someday I can have a role in constructing.
After Itaipu, we went back to the
same buffet as the day before. I got a similar lunch and tried some new stuff. No
cow tongue. After lunch, we crossed the border to Argentina to see Iguacu from
the Argentinian side. A different perspective, and it was equally as beautiful.
It was amazing to be surrounded by some green. We initially went down one trail
to the main falls, and then went and saw another part of the falls on a
different trail. The second trail was a little bit less populated and there was
more to see in my opinion. It was incredible.
After our visit, we went drove about
an hour to a nice area and strip where there was a lot of food options and good
vibes. We got a ton of good food for very cheap. Definitely had a great meal,
and if you saw the takeover, your mouth would’ve been watering too. From there,
we just headed home and hit the hay. Long day and a great day!
❤️
