7/19

Hello and good evening everyone! Today was another good day – we started our day with breakfast and then class. We touched on Hydroelectric and Nuclear Power in Energy Systems, and learned about Volumetric Descriptions of Matter and Steam Tables in our Conservations class. From there, we headed home, and had a quick lunch. Zaen and I grabbed some pizza from the bakery and heated it up in the oven.

After we ate, I buzzed through the problem that was due tonight, and then prepared for our presentations to ComBio. The homework went well, and the presentation went smoothly. We got good feedback, and we are on the right track moving forward. Something to feel good about.

Presentation wise, I am going to dive a little bit deeper on Molten Oxide Electrolysis and get smarter on it. It might be a new way to separate the good stuff from toxic ash to make ash that’s more applicable in agriculture. The company that has pioneered it is Boston Metals, whom are based in Boston and in Brazil. I’m excited to learn a little bit more.

Gucci the dog. He lives at the coworking spot.

After the presentations, we came back and had some beers with the Brazilian students and the ComBio rep. I also went and got some laundry done, as we are headed to Iguacu Falls tomorrow morning. I’m stoked. We picked up our laundry not too long ago, and now we are ready to head out to Si Senor round 2. Open bar. 2 hours. Bobcat is coming…
