Welcome back to the blog! Today
began with class, where we learned about Thermodynamics in Energy Systems and
Combustion in Conservations. Both are interesting topics. After class, we headed to
the bakery up the road for a quick lunch before hopping on a 40-minute bus ride
to Natura’s main factory. Natura is a Brazilian fragrance and cosmetic company and
is one of the biggest companies of its industry in the world. On the way, I
finally got to listen to Zach Bryan’s new album in its entirety. Unreal record.

It was awesome to take a tour of
the facilities and learn how their various fragrances and products were created.
After that, we sat down with their head of sustainability for a presentation
and questions. From there, we went to their on-site store with a 20% discount. I
got a watery and crisp cologne that I really liked and picked up one for my Mom!

From there, we headed back to the
hostel, where I buzzed through our homework and am now writing this blog. Zaen
and I are going to go out for a bite, and then hopefully an early bedtime. Stay
