Good evening everyone. I hope that you all had a great start to your weekend. Friday night was a doozie. We went to Si Senor and achieved the flow state. From there, we went to Amata which was a pretty cool club. It was half indoors and half outdoors with a rooftop bar. Pretty sweet. I did some networking with Brazilian kids around my age and we were teaching each other the cuss words!
This morning, my alarm sounded at
6:30 for breakfast, packing up, and heading to the airport for our 12:15
flight. The commute to the Sao Paolo Airport was pretty long, and I slept the
whole time. The airport inside was super busy and hectic. We eventually got our
bags checked, went through security, got some food, and boarded the plane.
I was very lucky today. When I got
on the plane, there was a dude sitting in my seat with his wife and toddler. I
let him sit there and took his seat. A few minutes later, an old couple came in
and filled the middle and window seat in the row that I was sitting in, along
with their son who was older. The son asked if I could switch with him, and I
of course said yes. Turns out, his seat was first class. I enjoyed the extra
leg room, and fell asleep immediately. When I woke up, there were snacks and a
beverage waiting for me. Pretty sweet. I don’t know if I can fly economy again.
When we landed in Iguacu, we got our luggage, hopped on the bus, and headed to the hotel. The hotel is in a semi-similar area to our hostel, with bars and restaurants all down our street. We checked into our room, and I went to the store to get some necessities along with Morgan and Caelyn. From there, we came back to the hotel and got ready for our dinner at Marco das Três Fronteiras, which is where the borders of Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil all meet above a river. Beautiful view and sunset.

We got some good food and drinks for dinner, and there was a dancing event showcasing the different eras and different dances in Brazilian culture. It was pretty cool to see. They were very good and the dances were interesting and complicated. I kept thinking to myself, how did we get from that to the Dougie?
Now, we just got back from dinner. I plan on uploading this blog,
showering and hitting some hay. I am exhausted. Early morning tomorrow as well
for the tour of the falls on the Brazilian side. Apparently we are getting very
wet.
❤️
