Welcome back everyone for the third
blog post of the day. Today was another good one – I just got back from Marco’s
birthday dinner. I ordered an Old Fashioned and a glass of red wine with my
pizza. My server poured me to the brim.
Today started off with class,
where we learned about chemical processes with multiple reactions and material
balances for multiple units with reactive processes. It sounds really
complicated, but it’s a math puzzle. After class, we headed back to the hostel,
and Zaen and I grabbed a quick snack at the bakery before heading out to the Municipal
Market of Sao Paolo.

It was super cool – there was so
much to take in. It was similar to the other food markets that we have been to before,
with food, drinks, food, fish, etc. We sampled a bunch of different kinds of
fruit and nuts. Honestly the best fruit I have ever had. We got lunch at the
market, and I devoured a beast of a steak sandwich. It was mammoth. From there, we visited one of the
oldest churches in Sao Paolo. It was absolutely beautiful.

After that, we visited the oldest
theatre in Sao Paolo. Also very beautiful.

When we got back to the hostel, I
went with some people to drop off some laundry at a laundromat. From there, we went
to a streetwear store, and I got a cool shirt for real cheap. Finally, when we
got back, I showered and got ready for Marco’s birthday dinner. We went to a
nice pizza restaurant and had a good time. Now, we are about to have some cake
and go out for some drinks for Marco. Strap in for tomorrow!
